Sojourners History

In 2010, several families and individuals shared the same vision of a church that closely examined the Bible and chose to live by it, no matter the cost. Sojourners Church was born with the belief that Jesus Christ is the center of life and that the truth of the Bible should drive everything that the church and its members do. On September 12, 2010, after meeting in area homes for several weeks, many families and individuals met for corporate worship at an area hotel. We’ve since moved to the Skyline Plaza in Albert Lea and meet there regularly for worship services, prayer, learning, and fellowship.

One verse that has guided and shaped Sojourners Church since the beginning is Acts 2:42, “And they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers.”
